2010 Open Championship was comfortably won by the South African golfer Luis Oosthuizen
with a score of 16 under par. Oosthuizen had led the tournament from the Friday
when he was fortunate to get the best of the weather in the morning. Rory McIlroy
had been the leader after the first round with a magical 63 but fell victim to
the windy conditions on the Friday afternoon. Going in to the final round, Paul
Casey was the main challenger but he failed to put any real pressure on Oosthuizen
who cruised to a 7 shot victory. | ||||||||||||||||
