Aberdovey Golf Club

Members and visitors alike appreciate this true links experience

Aberdovey

Golf was first played at Aberdovey in 1886, when the course was laid out on the natural turf and flower pots were used as holes. Much has changed since the course's humble beginnings, and Aberdovey has been shaped by no less than Harry S. Colt, Herbert Fowler and James Braid. Set in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey is laid out as a traditional links course, with nine holes out and nine holes in. This fine golf course is well worth a visit when golfing in North Wales and provides a challenge to any golfer when the wind picks up off the coast.
