Marriott St Pierre

The St Pierre Hotel and Country club is set in the glorious rolling hills of South Wales. The golf club consists of two courses, the Mathern and the Old Course. The famous Old Course is one of the finest in the country and has hosted over a dozen European tournaments. Originally designed by Ken Cotton in 1961, the Old Course was remodelled by Ross McMurray who constructed 18 new tee complexes and rebuilt the 8th and 9th greens to USGA specification in 2008. The parkland Mathern course is shorter than its more prestigious sister, but is equally enjoyable and provides a great warm-up round before playing the Old Course.
