The Queens Course, Gleneagles

The most benign but perhaps the most beautiful of Gleneagles' courses, The Queen's is considered to be James Braid's most elegant layout. Braid's brief was to create an easier second course after the King's, but he clearly couldn’t resist designing a course that, although shorter, is nevertheless as hard to score on as its neighbour. Accurate tee shots are the order of the day while the smaller greens require a deft putting stroke.
