The Senior Open (presented by Rolex) is taking place between 25th-28th July 2024 at Carnoustie Golf Links with Alex Cejka hoping to defend his title as champion.

Carnoustie has become known as ‘Golf’s Greatest Test’ which will hopefully make for a great competition amongst some of the finest golfers. Golf has been played on this links course since the early 16th century before being extended to an 18 hole course by Tom Morris Sr in 1867. It wasn’t until 1926 until the course became known as it is today when James Braid reengineered the course, ready to receive the Open Championship.

The tournament was held at Royal Porthcawl, Wales in 2023 for the second time in it’s history. The year prior the Kings Course at The Gleneagles Hotel played host for the 1st time.
