The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has announced that The Open will be hosted at Royal Portrush Golf Club in 2025. This will be the 153rd playing of the championship and the 3rd time that this famous links in Northern Ireland has hosted the world’s oldest and most popular golf event. Royal Portrush most recently staged The Open in 2019 when Shane Lowry won his first Claret Jug.
