St Andrews to Host The Open in 2022 – Packages Now Sold Out
The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has announced that The Open will be played over The Old Course in St Andrews in 2022. In 2022, The Open will be the 150th playing of the championship and the 30th time that St Andrews has hosted the world’s biggest and most popular golf event.
St Andrews “The Home of Golf” most recently staged The Open in 2015 when Zach Johnson was crowned champion. St Andrews has produced an illustrious list of winners over the years which include Jack Nickaus, Peter Thomson, Seve Ballesteros and Tiger Woods to name but a few.
